Sunview Medipro International Shines at NESP Launch at State House Nairobi

Sunview Medipro International had a proud moment at State House, Nairobi, as we joined the launch of the National Equipment Service Program (NESP), presided over by President William Ruto.

Our team assembled and showcased a brand-new, AI-powered 128-slice CT scan machine from GE — the latest 2025 model. This cutting-edge equipment delivers exceptional imaging speed, superior clarity, and enhanced diagnostic accuracy, enabling doctors to make quicker, more precise decisions.

President Ruto, together with senior health officials and county leaders, had the opportunity to experience first-hand how such technology is transforming patient care in Kenya.

Following the exhibition, the President flagged off 14 trucks, each carrying similar CT scan machines destined for county hospitals. All machines have since arrived at their respective facilities, significantly expanding access to advanced diagnostic services nationwide.

During the event, Sunview CEO Sirat Amin briefed the President on the company’s proven track record, highlighting recent successful installations in Lamu and Kisumu — both inaugurated by Cabinet Secretary Duale.

The NESP initiative, a collaboration between the Council of Governors (COG), the Ministry of Health (MoH), and medical equipment suppliers, aims to equip hospitals across Kenya with high-quality diagnostic and treatment technologies. Operating under a fee-for-service model, the program allows counties to access state-of-the-art equipment without incurring upfront costs, making modern healthcare more accessible.

To date, 45 counties have signed the Intergovernmental Participatory Agreement (IPA) to participate. President Ruto commended all stakeholders, including Sunview, for their dedication to delivering quality healthcare solutions to all Kenyans.
